My name is Mike Lechniak, and I created Solving for Impact to share ideas and resources designed to assist teachers and professionals.  With 19 years of experience as an educator across various K-6 classrooms, I’ve had the privilege of exploring different approaches to teaching and learning.  In 2019, I became an Elementary Math Coach for our school district.  In this role, I collaborate with hundreds of teachers to reflect on student progress, identify effective teaching practices, and engage in professional development to solve for student improvement.  I’m excited to share the lessons I’ve learned, offer practical solutions, and continue learning alongside a community of dedicated educators.
